Vision Statement
"As a collective set of professionals who use Revit as our primary design software on a regular basis, we intend to expand our knowledge by sharing our individual experiences. We are committed to promoting the intelligent, efficient and creative application of Revit-based Building Information Modelling (BIM) and interoperability with related software products within the AEC community. We will continue the growth of our membership base throughout Victoria in order to be regarded locally and nationally as the primary information and networking resource for Revit users.
It is our mission to empower members through improving their knowledge and skills, to develop industry ‘best practise’, and to enhance clarity for members within an industry heavily influenced by changes in technology."
Our objectives are to:
- Build the largest membership of any Australian Revit User Group
- Achieve the largest representation of any single user group at national events (RTC)
- Establish a deserved nation-wide reputation for strongest knowledge base amongst members
- Provide information and activities targeted to membership needs
- Develop a balanced membership representation by discipline between Architects, Engineers, Manufacturers, Owners and Contractors (A/E/M/O/C)
- Establish and maintain a market presence and gravity towards REVIC as a major community group
- Foster ongoing win/win relationships with compatible sponsors
- Encourage regular contribution from the membership base
- Equip members with a growing and evolving collection of 'best practice' guidelines
